Couples suitable for referral to this clinic are:

  • Those couples where the women has an irregular cycle (less than 24 days or greater than 36 days)
  • Those couples where the women has a regular cycle but abnormal LH or FSH levels taken in the follicular phase of the cycle (days 2-5)
  • Those couples with greater than 12 months of subfertility but with abnormal findings on semen analysis
  • Those couples with greater than 12 months of subfertility and normal investigations, where the woman is greater than 37 years of age
  • Those couples with greater than 24 months of subfertility and normal investigations, where the woman is less than 37 years of age

Referrals are made by way of a standard referral letter addressed to Mr Richard Howell (note previously requested proformas are no longer required). Details of investigations to date are required.

At the Royal Sussex County Hospital , Brighton

The clinics run on Monday afternoon in the Gynaecology outpatient department on Eastern Road (opposite the main hospital).
